"Science has never been quite so sexy before..." as The Lisbon Players opens its 2007-2008 Season with The Virtuoso, an irreverent, saucy comedy in English by Thomas Shadwell.
The Virtuoso, a Restoration comedy written in 1676, is a high-spirited satire on scientific pretensions and impossible sexual predicaments.
Based upon early ticket sales patrons are urged to make their reservations as soon as possible.
Casa do Artista, located near the Centro Comercial Colombo shopping centre at Estrada da Pontinha 7, has ample parking and is easily accessible at the Carnide station on the Metro Blue line (Carnide exit.)

Due to the sexual content of The Virtuoso, The Lisbon Players do not recommend this production for children under the age of 16.The VirtuosoAuditório Armando Cortez - Casa do Artista

Lesson 7 November
In this lesson we looked at Unit5D Bookworm and listened to the material on Oprah Winfrey and also did more language work on Past Tenses, including looking at pages 54 and 55.
Writing a review
Please write a review of a book, CD, concert etc. Write a minimum of around 250 words. Follow the model we studied in class (see page 130 of your coursebook). This work should be given to me by 20 November latest.
Please note that this must be your work - do not be tempted to take an existing review off the Internet, because I will know.
